This guide will explain to you, the student, how exactly the kite boarding training is organised and what milestones are set for you to achieve. Students will only be allowed to proceed to the next milestone once the previous milestone has been achieved and the instructor has given the go-ahead. Your ability to accomplish and master each milestone will depend on your personal skill and it will be at the discretion of the instructor whether to move you on to the next milestone or not.
Your instructor will choose a date for this training program to commence on based on weather and wind predictions. If, during your participation of this program, your instructor chooses to cancel certain objectives due to safety concerns, such as too strong wind, full payment for that specific part is still due.
Please note that neither your instructor nor his company, employees or affiliates will take any responsibility for your injury, loss or death during or after this training program and you understand fully that no claims may be made against the instructor or any of the above-mentioned parties. This is well explained in the indemnity document, which is to be acknowledged and signed prior to starting this training program.
This program focuses on kite boarding fundamentals for beginners such as safety, setup and kite handling. Students that have mastered these fundamentals will move on to body dragging and board-handling. If you are not ready for body dragging and board handling during this training program there will be other opportunities on your next training session.
